You are going to flip over our Chocolate Peanut Butter Hummus! So will your guests, kids and grand kids. Chocolate hummus on its own is so indulgent and peanut butter hummus has the creamy nutty flavor we all love – so you can only imagine how great putting them both together is.


3 cups water
2 tbsp. olive oil
6 Tbsp. creamy peanut butter
½ cup cocoa powder
½ cup granulated sugar (or equivalent sugar substitute)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ tsp. salt
1 Palouse Brand Bare Hummus Kit
From the Hummus Kit You Will Need:
3/4 cup dried Chickpeas
1 3/4 tbsp. sesame seeds
1 1/2 tsp. seasoning


Soak garbanzo beans overnight
Rinse and discard water, place beans in pot, cover with 3 cups of water and bring to boil for sixty minutes or until done.
Drain and set aside cooking water, rinse under cold water for 2 minutes. For tips on extra creamy hummus please see the tip below.
Place sesame seeds and olive oil in your food processor and process until smooth.
Add garbanzo beans and blend in your food processor, you may gradually add some of reserved cooking water until the hummus reaches your preferred consistency.
Add seasonings from kit and process until well mixed.
Add peanut butter, cocoa, sugar, vanilla and salt and process.
Scrape sides and process again until smooth.
